The main issue is having too many active projects at the same time โ it makes it easy to jump between tasks without finishing any of them.
The fix: decide in advance when you work on each thing. Startup tasks during main work hours. Investing course only in free time. Productivity website only in a small, planned slot.
For task clarity, use the first Pomodoro just to define the next step. Ask: What exactly needs to be done? What does “done” look like? What’s the smallest next action?
This week, try one simple rule: before the day starts, choose the main project for the day and write down the next 1โ3 tasks for it.
Action Plan
Setup (do once)
- Assign time blocks to each project
– Startup = main hours
ยท Course = free time
ยท Website = small slot - Write these time blocks somewhere visibleCalendar, sticky note, or a simple doc
Daily habit (every morning)
- Choose the one main project for today
- Write down 1โ3 specific tasks for that projectClear enough that you know exactly when each one is “done”
When starting a task
- Use the first ๐ #Pomodoro to define the taskWhat needs to be done? What does done look like? Smallest next action?
- Only then start executing
End of week check-in
- Did the “one project per day” rule help?Adjust the approach based on what worked
