| Apibūdinimas: | The California RCV Institute, a nonprofit organization, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to fill the position of Part-Time Nonprofit Marketing & Grassroots Outreach Coordinator. The role has two distinct ongoing tasks that focus on the same objective: growing Cal RCV's list of supporters across the Golden State. The first task involves working hand-in-hand with Cal RCV volunteers to manage our social media channels and coordinate our monthly email newsletter. The successful candidate will be responsible for building out a calendar of pre-planned social media posts across various platforms, moderating comments, and engaging with every follower/commenter across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok. You will need to be bi-lingual in English and Spanish to support our social media efforts in both languages. The second task is to find good opportunities in specific cities around the state where our volunteers can go and canvass to sign up new supporters in-person. This involves monitoring social media and sites like MeetUp, Eventbrite, and Mobilize for events that likely RCV supporters will attend, and then calling and emailing Cal RCV volunteers to make them aware of the opportunity and coordinating their efforts to canvass for supporters. Requirements: Experience managing social media accounts for businesses or organizations. Strong writing skills and the ability to create engaging content. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish. Familiarity with social media management tools and software. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Willingness to pick up the phone and persuade people to volunteer their time. Passion for democracy reform, social justice, and Ranked Choice Voting. Strong preference for people who live in California in order to speak authentically about state issues. Ability to work up to 10 hours per week. This is a part-time position with flexible hours and is 100% remote.
