| Apibūdinimas: | Canadian Drywall Business Looking for a Driven Business Manager We are looking for a self-motivated sales professional to join our small, but fast growing drywall taping business. Our ideal candidate has experience in the drywall (steel framing, boarding, taping..) and/or general construction industry, and is ready to embark on a career path as a Business Manager. Ideally, we are looking for someone local (Edmonton, Alberta) however we are open to working with someone remotely if your experience and ambition are aligned with our business goals. You MUST, at least, be located in Canada and have knowledge of the construction industry. As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for growing our client base, seeking out new job bids and managing all project-related client communication. The overall and day-to-day administrative coordination will fall under your scope, while working alongside and being in daily communication with the business owners. This role is perfect for a talented and multi-faceted sales/business development professional who knows how to engage with clients/customers, build rapport, and be the overall go-to person for anything the business may need. RESPONSIBILITIES Establish new accounts through seeking out and connecting with prospects, (potentially on-site visits), and creating a business portfolio Daily management; maintain strong relationships with clients through phone calls/texts/emails. Identify customers’ needs and react appropriately, while understanding market conditions and local competitor pricing. Scheduling and coordinating workers, subcontractors, suppliers and equipment as required, ensuring the project is completed on schedule and budget. Problem solving job site issues quickly and effectively in order to keep work on track and on time. Ordering materials and supplies, coordinating project logistics and workflow. Cost estimating & project bidding to obtain new projects (or making arrangements for someone else to complete these tasks). Liaising with the project management team, and clients to achieve the scope of work. Administration & document management, including: Maintaining all project documentation, bid submittals, billing clients, invoicing and payments, experience with accounting in Quickbooks would be an asset. REQUIRED SKILLS MUST be located in Canada - Ideally in Edmonton, Alberta or surrounding area Experience in drywall and/or construction, preferably in a B2B sales role or business development position Solid communication and interpersonal skills Strong planning and time management abilities Experience using Quickbooks Online for financial matters Proficiency in the use of project management software (Asana or other), Google Drive, etc. Thorough knowledge and understanding of drywall/ construction subcontractor work, specifications and scheduling, and have experience with project bids and local bylaws.
