| Apibūdinimas: | I am looking for a native GERMAN editor and proofreader. The editing is mostly for our blog content, sometimes also sales copy and email newsletters. My current work process looks like this: usually, another writer with a biology degree is doing the writing and I do the editing. I am looking to remove myself from that process more by hiring an editor for collaboration with my writer. We are in the medical field. We write content for patients, not physicians. However, we try to keep our content precise and neutral in a rather scientific (but easy to understand) style. In the past, our content was a bit more populistic. Google seems to have given big penalties in recent months on sites that use a populist style. I assume by analyzing which style the sites are written in a populist style and if they seem to fit into the alternative health niche / going against accepted mainstream medical opinion. Some of our sites promote natural and behavioural treatments so it's a fine line to walk which is not always easy. Essentially, we now try to lean more towards the writing style of sites like healthline and webMD while offering much more in-depth content. Or to give German examples, Onmeda and Doccheck. If you have studied something relevant, e.g. biology, medicine, or another life-science, this would be a big plus. However, it is no requirement. In general, our texts are already well done in regards to content, but need editing to improve understandability and flow. Payment is per hour. I made the experience that this works better than per word, as we focus on quality instead of quantity.
