wordpress - make plugin work in a second widget container

| Apibūdinimas: | I have a plugin that can only be used in a sidebar: http://helpdesk.diversesolutions.com/ds-idxpress/how-to-setup-the-idx-search-widget/ I have it in my "right sidebar" on my posts page: http://www.sellmymetrowesthome.com/articles/ I want to add the widget to my homepage: http://www.sellmymetrowesthome.com The plugin says it can only run as a widget in a sidebar, but I do not want to use the whole blog sidebar. Can a second widget container be created for use on my homepage.php? I also need to disable all comments, and add the yoast breadcrumb to all the blog related template pages. I am using twitter bootstrap so I need the widget to at least respond vertically, although the widget itself may not be responsive.
