Responsibilities: The selected video editor will be responsible for the following tasks: a. Video Editing: Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling and cohesive narratives. Ensure smooth transitions between multiple camera angles to maintain suspense and engagement. Maintain a consistent and eerie atmosphere throughout the video. b. Graphics and Effects: Add relevant graphics, overlays, and text to enhance the storytelling and convey information effectively. Create and integrate spooky visual effects to amplify the creepy vibe. c. Audio Enhancement: Select and incorporate appropriate, spine-chilling music, sound effects, and ambiance to heighten the scare factor. Ensure a balanced audio mix for clear dialogue and immersive soundscapes. d. Storytelling: Collaborate with the content team to understand the narrative and desired mood for each video. Suggest creative editing techniques to enhance the storytelling. e. Quality Control: Review and refine edited videos to ensure a high level of quality and consistency. Make revisions based on feedback from the content team. Requirements: The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications: Proven experience in video editing, especially in the horror or suspense genre. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.). Strong understanding of cinematic storytelling and pacing. Ability to work with multiple camera angles and footage sources. Skill in adding and manipulating graphics and visual effects. Knowledge of audio editing and sound design for creating a spooky atmosphere. Creative mindset with a passion for horror content. Deliverables: The video editor will be expected to deliver the following: Edited videos ready for upload to our YouTube channel. Project files and assets used in the editing process. Timeline: The project timeline will vary depending on the specific video, but we aim for regular content uploads weekly.
