Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and trustworthy Remote Bookkeeper to manage our financial records. This role includes managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, processing payroll, and preparing financial reports. Responsibilities: - Maintain financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. - Process accounts payable and receivable. - Conduct monthly bank reconciliations. - Assist in preparing budget and financial forecasts. - Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing reports, and advising management on needed actions. - Prepare financial reports for auditing, tax, or management purposes. - Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis. - Maintain absolute confidentiality of all financial data. Requirements: - Proven bookkeeping experience. - Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles. - Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks. - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel. - High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality. - Degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field is a plus.
