The provider is expected to review three pieces of guidance: • Derivations: describes the scientific and technical underpinnings by which ERS were developed and should be applied (approximately 40 pages) • Methodology: outlines EPA expectations regarding environmental monitoring to measure the indicators defined by ERS (approximately 80 pages) • Interpretation: outlines how EPA expects duty holders to interpret the information provided in ERS (approximately 40 pages) The role of the provider is to ensure these pieces of Guidance are: • Accurate in language, structure, and rhetoric expressions. • Utilise appropriate word choice, style, sentence structure, comprehensive and terminologies. • Use appropriate formatting and layout, consistent with the EPA style guide. This shall also include formatting in MS-Word format, as required. • Fit for purpose and appropriate for the audience.
