| Apibūdinimas: | Looking for a long term comic artist for a dog website! We’re a hypoallergenic dog website looking to branch out into new content! We’re looking for a talented artist with a wicked sense of humor and a flair for presenting complex humor in straightforward art! I’ll admit though, you guys, we’ve got time to be picky, so you’ll have to bring your best to the table if you want to stand out among our applicants! What we’ll need from you now : - Example of your previous work in writing comics (especially if they involve animals) - Passion in spades - Ability to do small comic strips for funny blog posts What we’ll need from you in the future : - Help creating a comical mascot and character cast - Weekly comics to be posted as part of a series on our blog - Comics for special occasions - Comics for funny blog posts - Comics for social media - Informational comics What this means for your job : - Our chosen candidate will be producing regular comics for two websites (a dog website and a cat website). - The chosen candidate may also eventually become the go-to comic artist for another few websites having to do with pet medication. - If you’re an expert in this industry, you’ll find that this job will give you a lot of creative freedom and a couple of enthusiastic, passionate, funny, laid-back individuals to work with! How to apply : - Don’t be formal, be witty. I’m hiring a comedian. I’d like to laugh in the process. - I don’t need a sales pitch, a couple of brief sentences will do. - I’ll be paying less attention to what you say and more to what you can do, so give me a portfolio, past work, things to laugh at in your proposal and anything else that can show me that you’re a good artist, you know your comedy, and you’re able to write a good comic strip. - DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT A COMIC TO SHOW - ^ But really, I’m not a jerk! Lol. So don’t worry about that!
