Work Type: Keep your day job. This is an "off work," position for Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays only. If you can't work those days, don't apply. The Web Developer is joining a new venture start-up team to be involved in developing a pioneering intellectual property website. This website fills a huge market gap and is predicted to be highly profitable. The web developer will provide a role to conceptualize, design, and program the front and back ends. Knowledge: Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer science, Web development, or related filed or Associates degree plus equivalent experience. 2+ years of related work experience to include web-site and web applications development and multimedia development experience in a corporate or commercial setting. Required Skills not limited to, but includes: Asp.NET, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SQL, JQuery, or equivalent technology that will make the website work. PHP is a plus. Adobe Photoshop Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written MS Suit Responds to emails within 24 hours. Sooner the better. Must be available to meet unexpectedly on Skype during the hours that you work on this project. Ability: Aesthetic and clean ability for websites Willingness to learn Willingness to redo works until right Ability to innovate and give supportive feedback Can do attitude and self-motivated Complete deadlines under pressure while maintaining high quality work Prioritizes multiple tasks Work in teams with IP lawyer, founder, marketing team, and others Ability to research and give proper presentations Analytical abilities Be willing to team work with your fellow web developer and work fair amount of work loads. Knows how to program websites that have complex frameworks and user interfaces - Example of complex user interface: Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Freelancer, and etc. Must have fluent knowledge and in the creation of complex websites. Must have knowledge in computing servers and ability to research them. Must be willing to do tasks other than what is in the ad when asked. Required to work assigned hours in hourly management style per week. There is no objective management in this project. Have leadership ability. Must: Have great quality webcam for Skype calls Great internet connection for Skype calls Fluent English Speaking Must have great organizational skills. Must have a printer and paper. Must have thick skin: Not easily offended, accept constructive criticism, and a blunt/to-the-point tone. Don't apply if you're thin skin. This is an enormous project.
